It sounds like polycystic ovaries or polycystic ovaraian disease (two different issues) which means that instead of having one regular cyst each month (the egg develops in a cyst every month), you have more than one which means that there isn't enough hormones for one egg to properly mature. It is much more technical than that but that might help you understand it better.

Most important thing to do now is to make sure you follow the doctors instructions. If I were you I would actually see a fertility specialist rather after 8 years of trying. You have to make sure your husband is also okay. 50 percent of couples are male factor infertility issues.

You may have the perfect symptoms of pcos which is extra hair on your body and you may be overweight. If you are then this would be a good place to start. Google pcos diet as I have seen many women fall pregnant as soon as they loose weight, however not all women have these symptoms.

Good luck but ask for a referral to a fertility specialist. I know they are not cheap but it is my experience having chatted for 3 years on the forum that women spend much more going from gynae to gyane for answers and sometimes even lacking experience and they could have saved time and money and headed in the right direction from the start.

Ek sukkel al 8jr om swanger te raak was gister by die dokter het n voledige ondersoek gehad hy sonars ens. Hy het vir my gese ek het blasies op my eierstokke en my hormone is deurmekaar het vir my pille gegee wat ek moet drink ek en as ek nie binne 6mnde swanger raak ni moet ek hom kom sien.. Het iemand dalk die selle geval as ek en wat swanger geraak na die pille raad asb mensies..
