Gynae in Pretoria?????

Ek was en is now steeds bye dr Reyn Marais by Femina, ek is vreeslik skaam en hy laat my baie gemaklik voel.

Strikkie, if you eventually want to have a natural birth, I would recommend dr Swart at Femina. I know he's not on your list, but he's great. I've also heard that dr Mouton at Femina is great. I think for normal ttc advice any of these gynies would be ok, if you need specialist fertility advice then go to Dr Trouw at Pta East or Dr Pentz at Kloof.

My cousin was(is) with Dr. de Meulenaar at Wilgers and she likes her very much. She is very pro-c-section.

I don't know any of the other doctors on your list. My gynae is Dr. Liz Erasmus at Wilgers and I really like her a lot. I would recommend her as well. I haven't had a child yet, so I don't know how she handles pregnancies and deliveries.

Dr. Liz Radloff was my doctor before I had my first child. She inserted the Mirena for me. I would not recomend her. I nearly died of an ectopic pregnancy due to her "slow response" in my opinion. I was admitted to hospital with low abdomen pain and she only instructed via telephone the nurses to keep giving me pain medication through the night. Even after I was fainting constantly the nurses were too terrified of her to phone her on a sunday night and ask her to come in and see me. So.....I wouldn't want a doctor that is so feared by the staff of the hospital that they won't do anything (even in emergency....). Just my experience.

Hasie, ons ttc nog so wil gaan vir goeie checkup en baie raad. Wil net nie ongemaklik voel nie, ons kom van platteland af so hier is nie gynae beskikbaar nie, almal gaan na gp toe of ry jhb/ pta toe. Pta is net vir my beter (gaan meer gereeld soontoe)

Like always it depends on what you want the gyni for, if its for pregnancy, fertility, checkups and if its pregnancy do you want natural or c-sec?

A friend of mine went to Helga de Meulenaar, and loved her. But other than that I don't really know anyone on the list.
