How soon can we ttc after d & C

Sorry to hear of your losses.

I was also told to wait 3 cycles after I miscarried with my first pregnancy. But I didnt see the point of it and fell pregnant 2 weeks after the mc. And went had a healthy pregnany, and healthy baby.

I rdcon gynaes say wait 3 months because its easier to calculate the gestational age of the baby.

Hi ladies,just trying to see what stories any of u have of getting preggers after a mc and d&c.
What are the pros and cons,will really appreciate some success stories as well as this time I am kinda losing hope that I will ever get preggers again.
Just a bit of my history - am 38 yrs,have a beautiful daughter 9 yrs and have been ttc no.2 for the last 5 years,had a mc at 5 weeks last october and another at 11 weeks altho baby had stopped growing @ 9 weeks , atleast I kno that everything is working for hubby and I.
My dr says wait 3 cycles ,just bcause he wants to see if I am ovulating on my own,but I feel like I need to start now...im not getting any younger...gonna be 38 next month.
