Not sure how this site works but i need some sort of help or direction.
I am 28 years old and marrid now for 4 1/2 years. Previous to getting married i was not on any sort of birth control, i had regular normal periods.
I went on the pill in March 2008 and off it in aug 2009. Since goign off it my cycles have been far from normal.
Since Dec 2010, i have been getting my cycles after every two weeks which lasts anything from 12-21 days. I seeked medical assistance from two diff gynae's. one advise dme that i have no cysts and nothign to worry about, it is the pill that needs to clear out of my system. the second one advised that i might have endormetrisis and would need surgery, but didnt advise anymore once i advised i was not on medical at the time.
I then went to see a homeopathic doctor, which advised that i have an hormone imblance which was caused by me being on the pill, he prescribed medication accordingly but that didnt help me, he then tested me to find that my pituarity gland is not functioning as it should and gave me more meds which still no results. this doc advised me that i am not even ouvlating despite me getting my peeriods.
i am becoming really depressed about being sick all the time and it is now starting to put onto of pressure on me, seeing that we are trying to have a baby.
i have decided to try another gynae and some many have been recommended to me as being really good. I have called Dr Hansen's rooms in St Augustine yesterday and got a bookign for the 24th october 2012.
Please is there anyone out there that can relate....
