I'm no expert, but I think it's better to BD before ovulation and try to do it at least once every other day there after. I think sperm can survive anywhere from 2 to 5 days in your body, while you only have a 12-24 hour window with your egg.

this is my first post......

i've had my first natural period this month in 4 years since i found out i have PCOS..... (it was always induced with provera and birth control) I must admit that i think the Glucophage i've been taking for the past 3 months had something to do with this. With this cycle my dr gave me Fertomid 100mg and i took it CD 3-7 - i'm currently on CD 10 testing every day of this week to see if i get positive result on OPK.

i wonder what day i should expect ovulation? and is it better to BD before or after ovulation?

I feel so positive about this cycle.........

I'm very new to all of this. I got my BFP on my second cycle of 50mg Fertomid but sadly I was diagnosed with a missed miscarraige and had a D&C on 19 September 2012.

We'll be starting again with Fertomid in January 2013. Good luck to all you ladies and hoping you get your BFP's very, very soon.
