Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Hi no good news on that front @meags, i have changed docs and have been taken off fertiboost, i am now on 500mg of glucophage and staminogro for three months, after that if i am still unsuccessful i will be put on to clomid, keeping my fingers crossed and praying for the best

I saw a fertility specialist. He says he isn't happy that I'm on clomid and particularly that I wasn't given progesterone to take with it. Anyway I had already taken this month's dose so it'll be my last month on it.
He says if I get pregnant, then obviously great. If not, DH must go for sperm analysis and I must go for bloods on day 3 of my cycle then go to him once we have all the results.
I will definitely start using FSH injections. If dh's sperm are all good, we keep trying naturally. If his sperm are weak, we will do AI.

Congrats to those who got their BFPs!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is VERY exciting!!!!!!

I'm sorry I can't catch up with everyone, but I do read as you post and send fairy dust to everyone!!

As for me...I'm CD30. Well let me go back a bit.
Last month's cycle on 50mg clomid, I got AF around CD24. Blood tests showed I didn't ovulate and progesterone was only 1.4 That is very very very low for those who don't know the levels. Basically when on clomid, they want it 15 and above.
So naturally I was very sad.

I emailed the gynae in Australia who had started me on clomid, as since we were living with my MIL, I didn't have a GP/gynae I had started seeing yet. The gynae seemed quite concerned and said I should increase to 100mg but I NEED to see a fertility specialist here ASAP.

Anyway we finally left MIL. Now living in Paris. I started the 100mg. All fine. No signs of ovulation really. No aches, no pains, no egg white cervical mucous. Anyway I go for CD21 progesterone tests and I ovulated!!! woohoo!!! Think the level was 26 or something. So very much improved from the previous month.

So here I am at CD30. Wishing and praying like crazy this is our turn. I still have not seen a specialist. But if AF arrives, I will make an appointment. I have enough clomid for 1 more cycle so will begin it if AF arrives and then see what fertility specialist suggests when I see them.

Generally, one shouldn't take clomid longer than 6 months, so theoretically I only have 2 more cycles then we'd need to do IVF. I can't go for AI as the issue is no ovulation.

We are EXTREMELY lucky that in France, 2 rounds of IVF are paid for my the government. So thank God, should it come to it, we don't have the added stress of the financial implications IVF brings.

I tested yesterday and it was BFN. I'm hoping it was simply too early to show. I will be testing again on Tuesday.

I will definitely get back to update if its BFP or BFN!
