Hi ladies, its been a long time since I posted. Been reading though now and then.
Its been a year since stopping contraceptions and nothing so far. My periods are normal and the last time I went to a gynea he said everything was fine. So will just have to wait and see.
Brokenhearted@ that's awesome news, praying that you get your bundle in the oven soon.
I'm clueless when it comes to counting for ovulation etc let alone what helps where , so I will just keep reading and getting more info from here as I am getting a lot of info for sure.
Enjoy the rest of your day ladies.

Hello Mommies to be or soon to be

I have a question. We have been trying for two months now. I have never been on contraceptive pills. We tried atleast 2 times a day during the fertile days. My period was due to start today 12 June but on Sunday 8th June i went to toilet but when I wipes I had very little red blood. I then started to bleed on Monday very light did not even need to use 1 tampon. I have been having this light bleeding till today. It not like my usualy periods as they are using extremely heavy with thick mucus, this time its very light water bright red with small little clot look a likes. Before period started i was having alot of creamy discharge. I took a pregnancy test this morning but was negative. Do this light bleeding mean something is wrong? I am 27 years old. I have been having terrible headache, sensitive teeth, alot of gas and heartburn.

Should I wait another period or should I see my doc immediately. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Good Luck to all the ladies out there trying.

:cheer: hi guys

i have just gotten some really great news, i feel like dancing on tables, after just 2 weeks on fertiboost and my follow up with Tessa at the fertiboost head office, she had some great news for me. my period is forming a normal consistency wich means follicles are growing healthy. havent felt this good in years. only 1 more month on the treatment and then i can start trying again. i can not begin to tell you how grateful i am to have found this blog, i might not know many people but just knowing i have some where to turn to is a great help. please keep me in your prayers. much love

Wannabepreggy yes I got the FertiliAid off the shelf at Dis-Chem. It was in the homeopathic section.
It was the first month I got a period naturally after taking it for 30 days. And it says on the back not to be combined with Clomid so I assume it has similar properties?

Another thing you ladies should look into is Chasteberry. Apparently fantastic for fertility issues too. You can get it from health stores.

I am hoping to start clomid in about a months time. Hubby has had all his interviews and now we are just waiting to find out where we will be placed.

brokenhearted its very hard to try stay positive all the time.
But please dont think of the "What ifs"!!!

Margaret85 welcome!! I have been trying since October too except I dont ovulate at all (nor get any periods).
Just some stats: It can take a healthy fertile couple a year to fall pregnant. A healthy fertile woman has only 20% chance of falling pregnant each month. So don't be despondant!! You are still falling into the 'normal' category. I know its hard. Getting a period or a BFN each month is really heart breaking. But just keep trying. Try have sex every second day between days 10-22 of your cycle to be sure to cover when you ovulate. How long is your cycle generally?
