file How soon after ovulation do symptoms appear?

Hi Keenmom!!

Firstly, no it is not imposssible to have success with your first try! We conceived my LG 4,5 years ago in the first month of trying (and only one BD session!) with only half of my reproductive organs functioning well! No fertility drugs. So, yes it is possible.

Having said that, I have tried to conceive in the beginning of this year for baby no. 2 and in 6 months still no luck. Many of those months I had a lot symptoms that could be classified as early pregnancy symptoms. So, yes, your mind can play tricks on you and unfortunately PMS symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms are the same...

But I do remember having very sharp pains and cramps with my LG at around 10 DPO. I did a home pregnancy test on day 11 and it was very faintly positive. Some people get a faint positive as early as 9 DPO (days past ovulation). So, it all depends if you want to spend your money on HPT (home pregnancy tests) or perhaps a slap of lindt chocolate for the month if you can't wait for your period to confirm results!

Good luck with the wait...It is a killer!

Baby dust to you! FX ! xx

Evening ladies...

I am just 7/8dpo, but I have been having crazy symptoms! My brain must be playing tricks on me - surely I can't have symptoms already? My partner reckons I am too keen and seeing symptoms where there are none.
In the past 4 days I have had stabbing pains on my cervix, nasty sour burps (which result into a burning sensation in my throat that I assume to be heartburn), lower back pains, fatigue, burning ears in the evenings and headaches.
All these have been on-and off (only have the back pain right now).

Please tell me I am not being over-zealous (BFP in C#1?). The 2ww is torture!
