Trying, I saw your comment and had to add something here. I hope that your gynae was just trying to put a positive spin on things by saying that it should work within 3 cycles, because the reality is that it often doesn't happen that quick. My FS said to give it at least 6 cycles from the point where we have worked out what dosage is the correct one for me. Thereafter he'd recommend some more tests (perhaps check if my tubes are open etc) before making any further decisions. So I guess what I'm trying to say is don't put so much pressure on yourself just because this is cycle 3 - rather make peace with the fact that it may take a while, cause otherwise you'll make it so much harder on yourself, not to mention the disappointment if it doesn't work as you expected. Hope your wait is a short one though! :)

(Fairymommy, I'm sure I already commented on your original post in the Afr thread)

Im 33 and trying for my first. I also have severe PCOS and after 2 months on treatment I seem to be ovulating but with no success yet. My gynae told me is should take in 3 cycles which suddenly puts a lot of pressure on this next one. How are women supposed not to sress and be anxious? I know it doesnt do any good but I cant just switch my emotions off..
I suspect that as you are only on tx with glucophage that your pcos isnt too bad? Thats great news for you so good luck!
