Trying for a 2016 baby

Thank you ladies for the advise to wait a few more days and to test again. I dont know why I was so eager to test this cycle, as I usually dont test because two blows (BFN and AF) is too much for me.

@Mrs Smith - sorry that you are experiencing some spotting. I hope AF stays away. You are also still in it.
That is the thing. My DH got me pg before as well so what was the chance that he had a problem. But things happen, habbits, life, stress and all those factors contributes to it.
As far as testing goes, I think you can go to any lab and deposit your sample and I think you get the results directly from them and then take it to your doctor. I might be wrong though.

@Liza - have your hubby been for his SA yet?

@Mrs Smith - My GP is also a big fan of antibiotics I really don't like using them. We are trying to keep our bodies healthy for this winter. SO we had a smoothie this morning, I need to squeeze oranges again tonight. And I must say I normally suffer heavily with my sinuses, and the last month about it has been "gone". I have been using staminogro (tables) and orange juice and then smoothies. Seems to be working.
I am holding thumbs that she stays away Mrs Smith!!!!

@Ninies - sorry about your bfn, but like everyone is saying it might still be too early to detect anything. Good luck

Shame nix - sorry to hear you're still struggling with your sinuses. I'm actually impressed your GP wouldn't give you antibiotics - mine always pushes them on me despite me being totally convinced we don't need them. It's really annoying! Have you tried saline nose sprays like sterimar? Maybe that'll help clear it up.

Liza - that's a great progesterone score!
A fb friend of mine just got pg again and her progesterone score was only 13, then 17 (after pg was confirmed).

ninies - really sorry you got a bfn. 10dpo is really early to test though, so fx'd in another 2-3 days you'll get a different result.
I read once that it can take 7-10 days for implantation to take place, and then another 7-10 days for enough hcg to get to your urine for a bfp to show. So you're definitely not out yet!

Carien & JayBee - sorry you're having such a hard time with FF. I did read that temp taking is one of the least reliable methods of pinpointing ov, as there are so many factors that could influence your temps. So if you are convinced you ov'd on a certain day based on a variety of symptoms, then I would trust yourself rather than FF.

AFM - I went to bed in such a bad mood last night. I was totally fine the whole evening, then just before bed I went to wee and when I wiped there was slightly pink / peach coloured CM. So that put me in a totally fowl mood because not only was the witch threatening to arrive (meaning i'm not pg), but she would arrive a day early! So when I woke up this morning and went to the loo I fully expected to find her there in full force when I wiped. But nothing! Absolutely nothing! No sign of her at all. So that put me in a much better mood, becuase at least she's not early! I was planning to test tomorrow morning, with FMU, but I've never really had particularly good results with FMU, I get clearer results in the late afternoons, so I might try and hold this afternoon and test when I get home. Still not entirely sure my hopes are as high as they were earlier this month. I think i'm bracing myself for a bfn and af tomorrow. Which sucks.
Dh was actually saying this morning that he thinks maybe he should get tested. We both doubt he's the issue as he's gotten me pg before, but I do know things can change over time.
How do you go about doing a SA? I know you can take a sample to pathcare etc, but which doctor do you send the results to? GP? Gynae? Urologist?

@Jay-Bee & Carien I wish I could tell you ladies to go with your bodies, or with the chart, the thing is, sometimes our bodies talk to us and it may help
to listen to them. Sometimes they can decieve us so eish its a hard one.

@ Carien, different labs have different scoring tables but Pathcare specifically has results with a level of 16-60 nmo/L

I am in the exact same boat as you as FF says I ov on Thursday but I had a OPK+ on Sunday and then Monday a OPK- with ov cramps.
I think that we know our bodies and maybe should go with when we feel we ovulated.

The only problem with that is if I go with my body calculations I will only be 2DPO and not 5DPO

@Ninies, I would say maybe wait 2-3 more days, or maybe till 14dpo...they say it can take between 7-10 days for implantation, so 10dpo may be a bit soon. Fx' d for you when u test again in the next few days. It ain't over yet!

@Lisa - I have never gone for one of those tests, but I asked my good friend google and this is what I came up with www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/bhcv2/bhcart....nsf/pages/Ovulation there is a tone of information, most that you would know already, under "Medical tests" they talk about progesterone testing. But I think @JB01 has the best info since she has done the test before.

AFM - again I am totally in disagreement with FF. Has anybody else ever disagreed with when it drew your cover line? My temp was a bit lower this morning, but still not low (about 0.25 down from yesterday) and so FF drew my line on Saturday (CD14) for ovulation. I am 99% sure this is not right based on the fact that I had the very most EWCM on Thursday, and then some (but not near as much) on Friday, and then went to sticky on Saturday - really quite sure I ovulated between Thursday and Friday with Friday being the latest that I could have ovulated. Also got the smiley on Thursday, and I felt the ovulation cramps on Thursday as well...I could of course be wrong, but I honestly dont think I am...
Anyway, would love some opinions, what do you ladies think?
