Trying for a 2016 baby

Hallo Ladies,

Well I started spotting light pink last evening so AF is on her way. I also had bad skin breakouts, and that I get every month around this time so I sort of suspected she is on her way.
Now I am just waiting for the spotting to change into an actual period so I can start counting the days. If AF comes today I would have had a perfect 28 day cycle.

My gynae is recovering from a knee operation. He will probably only be back early June. When he prescribed me fertomid he said he might up the dose later to 100mg. When I was on Fertomid last year, the doctor prescribed it for 3 months. Dischem lost my prescription and the doctor issued another one. Therefore I have an extra packet at home and was wondering if I should take 100mg this month or if I should rather consult with my doctor first?

I am supposed to go and see him again for a mid cycle scan - but I must just check if he is back by the time I get to CD13.

What do you ladies think?

@Jay-Bee - I really do hope that you did ovulate! Did you use any app to help you draw a coverline?

@ Liza, Normally one gets put on the lowest dose 50mg for two cycles as it takes ones body a cycle to get used to the pills. If both rounds of Fertomid doesn't work then they up the dose to 100mg. If this cycle is unsuccessful then I am going on the 100mg

AFM, I am on 6DPO and my temp is one day up by a degree and then down the next
Going for my Progesterone test on Monday but i have a nagging feeling that I didn't ovulate... only time will tell

@Mrs Smith- that would make sense! I will use my last one tomorrow and see what I get. I have just gotten some ovary pains so it could be it!! Eek hope I catch my eggy!!!

P4M1- sorry the witch arrived for you

Chanti - I haven't actually used opks myself before, but I *think* it could get darker as the surge is starting, so hopefully the next one will be a true positive - darker than the control. Timing sounds about right. If it gets even lighter or disappears completely tomorrow then i would count today's as your positive. It could be that you just caught the tail end of it and the hormone was already starting to dissipate.

@P4M - I am so sorry the wicked witch arrived! Just have a hot bath and pamper yourself and be selfish for a few days. I always tell DH that he has to pamper me when AF arrives as its the only week in the month where i am allowed to be pathetic

AFM, CD13, have been taking the clicks OPKs the last few days and today it was darker than the last but not quite as dark as the control, does this mean O is getting closer??? Or does it not get darker as u get closer?? First timer!
