How is everyone doing today?

Did OPK this morning and got the positive!!! We have been BD since Saturday so i think we will be fine. We decided to skip last night (it was just to much) so we'll continue tonight. And hopefully we'll catch that eggy!

Is there anyone else on Fertomid that has become very emotional (wanting to cry about everything) Seems like my hormones are all messed up!

How is everyone doing today? It is "Friday"....

AFM I am on CD14 today and got a positive OPK this morning. I used the clearblue ones but not the digi ones. I could not get them. But both lines were equally dark but not as dark as they illustrate on the pamphlet. Do I take this then as a positive? The Surge line was a bit darker than the reference line.
I have had terrible ovulation pains for the last 2-3 days in my entire pelvic area. On both sides.

I have another silly question. Seeing that I got a positive OPK this morning, is tomorrow then 1DPO? Or will ovulation day only be in the next 48 hours and from there then 1DPO?
What do you ladies think? And should it cover all basis if we bd tonight and tomorrow night and maybe again on saturday night? Or is that not enough? Goodness....this becomes so complicated when you want it so badly...

How is everyone else doing? Did anyone else get a positive OPK yet for this cycle?

Is there anyone that is testing soon?

I am also NOT a morning person! So mornings are a no-no for us.

We try to keep it fun by just joking about his 'swimmers' (TMI) and that he should have a serious discussion with them so that they know what they need to do...bit silly, but it keeps it light hearted.

So my opinion (based on what I have read) regarding how often to BD - if you do BD all the way up to about 2-4 days before you O, then you are in girl territory, if you BD all the way through your fertile window, you are in boy territory, but basically, unless you have swimmer count issues, every day from the day that AF packs her bags is good - also just based on what I have read.

I will also not be able to bd @ 4am....wont even be able to open my eyes.....

It is strange how one could get different advise w.r.t to bding...
We were told to NOT bd 2-3 nighs before Ovulation, but not longer than 4 days. Specialy if DH has sperm problems.
Also when we do the IUI, we do not do anything for at least 2-3 days....we found that his sperm count is at best then.
Maybe it does not matter if men dont have sperm problems.

Well, I am on CD22 today. Still another 11 days before AF arives...I hope. My average cycle for the past 6 months has been about 32-34 days.
Then I start my Fertomid and Gonal F...jippee..

i certainly wouldn't bd at 4am either!

My husband is a personal trainer he gets up at 4 in the morning I just wouldnt be able to wake up at that time ...

We'll skip the bd tonight then i'll test again tomorrow morning.

It feels very unnatural to plan when to bd! What we wouldnt do to get that BFP!

Regarding every second day/night - theoretically that is enough to cover your bases, but personally i haven't had any luck with that.
With the smep plan they suggest every second night until you get a positive opk, then every night for 3 nights, skip one night, then once more.
So the alternate nights would be just to cover your bases, but once you know/think you're ov'ing then it's safer to do every night, just to make sure.
