@Jay-bee - Hun, I'm so sorry you didn't ovulate on the first round of Fertomid. If it helps, I didn't ovulate on my first round either. I ovulated for the first time during my second round of Fertomid 100mg. So don't lose heart. Just try again, ok? Thinking of you!

@Chanti - You can put the thermometer in your mouth or down under. Your choice. The mouth works best for me, though. To freaked out and scared I'll lose it down there! lol!

I'm on CD 27 today, 12DPO. Did another test this morning - Still BFN. I'm thus now waiting for AF to arrive. The second round of Fertomid was successful in making me ovulate, yet unsuccessful to help me conceive.

Jay-Bee - sorry you're not ov'ing even on the fertomid. Hopefully the next round works better. I'm glad the gynae is will to up the dose if 50mg still doesn't work.

@Jay-Bee - I'm so sorry about that!! Atleast you know what is happening and can work towards fixing it. I sure hope this next cycle is a good one for you. Will you go for tests again next cycle? Were you temping this cycle?

@ Chanti, I use the thermometer under my tongue and take the reading the same time everyday as soon as I wake up. My temp is normally 36.4 degrees before ovulation and then it always above 36.6 until AF show as then it dips again.

AFM, a bit upset this morning as I got the results from the Progesterone test I had done yesterday and I didn't ovulate on my first round of Fertomid 50mg. I am going to do another round of 50mg and if that doesn't work then the gynae will increase the dosage to 100mg. Lucky I didn't have to wait the whole tww out.

@Liza - I think 3 months is a fair wait. It gives your body time to adjust and for you to keep an eye on your cycles.

AFM, CD22 8DPO, I had a wave of nausea hit me last night, almost ran off to the bathroom but fine again today.

I have a question for the ladies that temp, so probably @Anzel - Is it fine if I put the thermometer in my mouth or does it have to go down under? I was under the impression you could just whack it in ur mouth under the tongue.

Ninies - Doing a lot better today! Feeling very excited for the ovulation days that lies ahead!

Spoke to hubby last night and we decided to do as instucted by the Gynie but not to get our hopes up to high seeing that this is our first cycle of Fertomid.

I've read alot about the product and there is success stories but being realistic i am giving it 3 months?? What do you think?

We have been TTC since Feb 2014 with no PG this is our first cycle on any fertility treatments.

@MTC - hahahaha that sounds like me at the moment, its below 0 outside but halfway through the night I lose it and strip down to just a shirt as I get so hot, imagine what summer will be like with a ballooning belly. During the days I am absolutely freezing though and wishing for a little bean inside to warm me up.
