Could I be Pregnant ?

I think go for the blood test when you are 7 days late just to make sure that your body is producing enough HCG hormones to be detected if you are pregnant. You could also try the home test again on 7 days late but do it with first morning urine as the hormone level will be stronger then. The pink/brown spots could be implantation spotting which is apparently normal a few days after a missed period (but not all women get this spotting...I didn't get it or I just missed seeing it ).

Its quite a stressfull time this wait till you can have another test done but try and not stress too much about it!

Update: I'm 3 days late today. No period cramps at all so not sure what's going on. Did a test with clearblue plus yesterday, but it wasn't my first morning urine - and it was a negative.

However, about an hour ago, I had more creamy cervical mucus with pink/brown spots in the discharge itself. I'm not sure what this is as I have no feeling of getting my period - any advice on what this is would be appreciated !

I think I'll get a blood test done if I get to 7 days late with no BFP or AF.

I had some of the same symptoms when I got pregnant. My first test was also negative, but two weeks later when I still did not get my period I tested again and it was positive. I suggest go get the blood test done. Its the only test that can accurately say if you pregnant or not this early. If that test shows negative maybe go see your gynea as it might be hormone issues causing the symptoms.

I was wondering if anyone here could offer me some advice.

I am currently trying for baby #2 after 2 years. I was on yasmin throughout this time and left it after I finished the last pack on the advice from my gynaecologist - I was on day 4 of my period when I took my last pill.

I had no withdrawal period.

My period began on 19th January and I ovulated a week later on the 26th/27th so we tried to conceive during this time. My period was due today, but I have yet to receive it and don't feel like I will anytime soon.

For the last week, I have had the following symptoms:

• Abdominal bloating & occasional tightness
• Twinges in uterus and a feeling like something is moving inside me
• Dull pain in the left side of my uterus (this is quite often)
• Shooting like pain in breasts
• Discharging small amounts of creamy cervical mucus daily

Tested this morning with clearblue plus and got a negative result. Did a clearblue digital 2 days ago and that was also negative. I've never been late before and never experienced some of these symptoms except during my last pregnancy.
