Trying for a 2017 Baby

Hi ladies how u all doing today?

AF still no show trying to not stress out as best as i can..my BFN not really on my mind as yesterday my gramps got really sick and is currently in high care, rushed to see him and it left me heartbroken...

Its DH birthday so im in a flurry of baking a cake and cooking a special supper for him...trying to keep positive about my gramps but scared to lose him as well....

@AnzelMama12 yes DH drives me crazy sometimes with his inconsistent moods. Luckily we are now on the same page and we are now going to try and get pregnant asap.

I actually called the gynae today to make and appointment to make sure everything is fine before I get my hopes up and nothing happens. I never had problems in the past, but then again I was also 19 and 22 when I had my first kids. Dr can only see me on 10 November so I have to wait until then.

For the first time I actually sort of get the phrase hurry up and wait and I have only been at this for a couple of days. Hats off to those of you who have been doing this for so much longer, I do not know where you get the strength from. I am an instant kind of girl, if I want something, I want it now, not in a couple of days months or years, but I want it now.

Also the fact that I cannot speak to anyone except my best friend about this decision is slightly killing me. I also at this stage do not feel that I can speak to her as we made the decision not to have anymore children together and planned out lives going forward after the cut off date this April. She is not happy for me that we are going to try again, but I know she will be happy for me when I get a BFP. So yes confused is the boat that I travel on right now.

@jaybee so nice that u back with us, hope you get ur bfp soon...

I am on cd 28 period due today....so im not gtn my hopes up...maybe next month

@ Anzel, thank you and she really is a sweetie. It seems like you had a wonderful break/holiday and had time to relax and unwind. Holding thumbs that the no stress attitude and the holiday did the trick and you get your BFP!

@ Liza, my best friend also gave up coffee (she's and addict) and she has had terrible headaches too. The heartburn is another story and can be a very good sign. Holding thumbs for you too and wouldn't it be great if you get your BFP before your IVF journey.

@ Anzel it's good to not focus on the TTC, I've had times were it just drove me crazy!

From my side, I'm CD24 today. I've had hectic heartburn for the past couple of days. It actually makes me nauseous. Doesn't matter what i eat or drink the heartburn just comes back. I've had some milk last night before bedtime that seemed to help a lot. Struggling with headaches as well, not sure if this is because I've cut back on the coffee.

Just patiently waiting for AF to arrive this weekend and get started on our cycle.

Welcome and good luck to all the other ladies I have not mentioned. This group has grown so much, that it is difficult to keep up with all the new faces.

AFM, I honestly have no idea where I am in my cycle. I was on 150mg Fertomid this month, then we went to the west coast on holiday for a week, and now I'm back at work. My mind is completely off TTC at the moment. We are not giving up on TTC, we are just taking it easy. We have been at it for 2 years plus, so another few months won't hurt. I think I ovulated around the time we were on holiday, but I can't be sure. I'll have to wait it out and see in a few weeks what happens. Have a good day!

Thank you , I think hubby and I will just take it as it comes for now.
I am tracking my cycle with a app, so will just stick to that for a while.

My sis had a little one 3 weeks ago , so i am incredible broody at the moment.
