As Tanya has said day 1 is the day there is red blood so Friday would count as day 1

I could be wrong, but i think you start counting when there is a lot of red blood, not from the spotting day.

Hi.. I've been to a fertility specialist. Asked me to take tests on 3rd day of my period.

When exactly does one start counting day1..... I saw slight blood on toilet paper on thursday but saw blood on my sanitary pads on Friday morning. Which do I take as day 1?..
