I know you can do a quantitive blood test to detect pregnancy I copied an extract from the internet as to how soon you can test:

HCG can first be detected in a blood sample about 11 days after conception. Levels of hCG continue to double every 48 to 72 hours. They reach their peak around eight to 11 weeks after conception. HCG levels then decline and level off, remaining steady for the rest of your pregnancy.

Symptoms can really drive you insane especially if you have been TTC for a while I had all the "normal" symptoms when I was on clomid so when I got a BFN I was astounded!

Nausea that was very bad
Dizzy Spells
Bad Bad AF cramps almost a week and a half too soon
Increased smell

Maybe think about doing a blood test if the wait gets too long for you

Winter does really not help with cold like symptoms

Thanks Moomiez,I hope June is your month. You are so right, I hate this TWW.
They say a rise in estrogen after O plays a role in fatigue and sneezing etc. I'm only 9dpo but since yesterday I could swear I have a head cold! It's annoying because I know it could be a symptom. Too early to test tho. Tried to find my cervix yesterday... First time ever I couldn't reach it?
I'm past getting my hopes up but all this along with achy legs (weird feeling) , tired and oh so queasy...I just don't know. Could a blood test tell at this point? I don't want to self medicate for a cold to find I'm actually pregnant. Eeek

Suggestions?

The 2WW is such a horrid thing to get through.... But I am holding thumbs for you and sending you lots of baby dust!!

Have you ever had your progesterone levels checked out?

I had to do a progesterone test the last time we tried an IUI with Clomid on CD23 and my results came back as 46.1 which according to my gynea means I had a successful ovulation.

Maybe try to go for a test to set your mind at ease or to check if all is O.K you dont need a doctors referral for the blood test to be done.

AFM: Lost a total of 1.3 Kg for last week ) Still taking my prenatal vitamins and counting down the minutes to our IVF appointment in June

So great to see u Ladies here. So I'll start on the whole dpo thing and my crazy symptom spotting.

Had a rough time last 2 cycles and fear I have a progesterone issue.
I'm assuming I o'd on 30 April but only DTD once on timeframe being the 29th.
AF due 14 may (I think) so today is 8dpo. All I feel is twinge of lower back pain and a bit of nausea. Tmi but cm seems to be getting yellowish colour. Hope it's a good sign.

AFM: I have lost a kilogram since I have started on Tuesday with my new eating plan Charting is also going well it looks like I ovulated this month which is such a big deal for me, my cycles have been very irregular, but after a year and 4 months on Mirelle it looks like everything went back to normal FX'ed
