@Ayesha - Have you considered maybe going for a blood test to check HCG and progesterone? Progesterone will also give you an indication if you ovulated yet.'

Jaybee - hope you are well and that the spotting is nothing to be concerned about. All the best for your appointment.

AFM - AF is due today (CD28) . have the usual cramps and twinges, slight CM. No other symptoms out of the ordinary. Have irregular cycles which is also frustrating. Will wait it out. Not feeling too confident though but will just hang in there.

Feeling much better this morning Had a lot of sleep yesterday and a lot of chocolate haha!! my friend was so understanding re her baby shower so made me feel a lot less selfish for not going. I am going to take her for a coffee and give her the pressie this week. and to make my day better my hubby finally found me a lovely little 2nd hand car that we can afford, its been 2yrs without my own car so i am SO happy! He is going away for work to the karoo next week (over my birthday!!) so I was worried about being home alone all week with no car - feel a lot better now! he's actually away from cd9-15 so will do opk and maybe we will still have a chance!! not sure what is going on with my cycles!

anyway ladies you are amazing and so thankful for your messages on these days.

With everything we go through during this journey having an understanding husband who is willing to pick up the pieces when we fall apart and make little gestures means so much. I'm glad you 're mobile again Nicola.

I was suppose to test this morning but forgot lol I'm waiting for Friday again I guess it will be 2 weeks late by then.

@Nicola I really prayed this was your month. Before my son I was regular to the day and then the 2 months before I fell pregnant I was late by over a week so fx your time is soon

Afm no AF yet and I'm scared to get another BFN so just waiting it out for the week

@ Nicola, so sorry to hear that AF arrived and you are in pain. It is so annoying when your cycles are a few days late or early. Could it be that you are ovulating on different days hence the longer or shorter cycles? Yes maybe using OPK's and temping for a month or two will help to pinpoint Ov.
I used OPK's like a mad women for 2 months and then BD'ed a marathon leading up to O and then a few days after too.

Well ladies AF arrived early this morning with such intense pain ? started to believe this was my month but oh well. I'm ok, maybe cos I know we didn't really try last month. But I have a baby shower today and I just don't feel up for it same friend had her 40th birthday yesterday which we went to and I chatted to her loads so I'm hoping she will understand. Think I'm gonna opk this month coz now my cycles are all messed up 34 days longest it's ever been my whole life. So confusing

Anyway it's lovely and rainy in Cape Town today. I've taken my pain killers and I'm in bed with my pups and hot water bottle. Hubby has gone to get me a muffin and a coffee and this is where I'm gonna stay for a few hours
