@ BmB, yes the rain is wonderful. I have two friends that are sisters; the one fell pregnant with a "one time opsie" and the other has been through IUI and nothing for years and she attended a lot of baby showers. She smiled and took everything in her stride but told me it kills her, then a week before her IVF she fell pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl 2 weeks ago. I know its hard and it drains a person this ttc but hang in there as your time is on its way and holding thumbs for your BFP!

@ Chanti, I am sorry to hear that AF is on her way! This ttc journey is not for sussies that's for sure. Don't feel defeated you are exactly where you are meant to be as their is a special plan just for you. I know the unknown and waiting is so heartbreaking and draining but hang in there, take your few months breather and who knows that's maybe exactly what you may need.

AFM, starting my OPK tracking today and countdown to O, a but nervous but excited too.

@Babymaybe - I am so glad you guys are getting some rain, it is so needed! It is very hard to not focus on it... well done for trying at least..

AFM, the spotting has started and AF due tomorrow so I think its safe to say I am out!!! Back to IVF next year... I have emailed the doctor for a new script of Visanne and I will start that ASAP so that this endo can calm down for a little while. Argh ladies, so defeated right now. Need to just take a few months for myself now.

@ Nicola, thanks, yes I also think that it is a good idea to test from CD10

@Jay-bee after a few months where it was never the same I think I settles on a 27/28 day cycle. I bought about 20 of the cheap ovulation test from bid or buy and I always do my test at about 5pm, and I stopped taking fluid at around 2pm as it can have an affect if you just had something to drink. usually the OPK's say that around cycle day 11 in a good time to start but maybe keep an eye out on CM and so forth to decide when to start using them

@JayBee, when my cycle was 26/27/28 days I would start testing once a day in the mid morning around CD10. I would always get a positive on CD11 or CD12 so if I were you start around CD10.

@Babymaybe how long was your cycle this time around? As above for standard 26/27/28 day cycle and when my cycle moved to 30 days after my first round of Fertomid I would still get positive opk around CD11/12. But this cycle my last AF was 34 days (new round of Fertomid) and I got a positive opk (Clearblue digital smiley) on CD15. Also had a lot of ovulation pain that day. Again as I said above maybe best to just test every day from CD10 just to be sure? I know its expensive but its the only way to check without going for bloods every day. Oh and my FS advised I take my Fertomid day 3-7. Not sure if this will change if my cycle stays at 34 days but i'll have to find out!

Hope you both get clear results this cycle, makes it so much easier & so much less stressful
