@ Reece, I am also 8DPO today and no symptoms at all although we are not ttc this month. Holding thumbs for your BFP and hoping this week flies by for you.

@ Nicola, I used to use the Clicks OPK sticks and also bought a whole pack off the internet. I never really liked them as thought that they were not working well and also had to guess myself if the line was darker for ovulation. Needles to say that I used to get a positive OPK with them but in fact didn't ovulate but that is another story. I do chart and temp and mostly ovulate on CD16/17 but last cycle I used the smiley face CB digital and only received a smiley face on CD17 which means that I only ovulate 24-48h later on CD 18/19 I think in the next day or two the OPK will be really dark.

AFM, I always have 26/27 day cycles so AF should show up tomorrow. I got my smiley face on CD17 which means I only ovulated on CD18/19 so will be interesting to see if that will effect my cycle length. I too am wondering about the smiley face....

Hubby's pH is so much darker than the 7.5 so I am going to take it that he is a 8+ and I am a 6 and after BD I am a 7. Starting the boy diet next week, hopefully I can raise myself to a 7.5/8.0!

@NicolaF - making progress! maybe test again tonight and see if it gets darker still...

Carien - I love your quote! made me laugh! Yeah we got this!!!
I don't like the Dischem brand either! They only give you a positive when you are really really approaching ovulations! Not even a faint line beforehand. I also like the Checkers Brand or the ones I buy from Clicks - its a small test that you use a dropper to drop the urine in. That is very sensitive.

@NicolaF - it is very common for your ovulation day to be different - like Cands said... mine is normally between CD12-CD15.
The CD digital has 2 different ones. I use the Smiley digital that shows you your 2 peak days. I don't use the flashy smiley one. They are the same price or the non-flashy smiley is cheaper - I cant remember. But I love the CB digital smiley, because as soon as the cramping starts and I get my first cramps, I normally take the CB and it always gives me the smiley when its my peak ovulation and the day before my ovulation.

AFM - 8DPO today. I have had major cramping throughout the weekend. And some terrible lower backache. Sharp twinges and headache. But Headache is a norm for me. I am waiting patiently until Friday to test. 12DPO! Praying for a BFP!

Hi hun, I have read that it is normal to ovulate on different times of the month, but like one or two days different not over a week

@Carien yes I usualy use those ones from Checkers and they've always given me a very dark line so i'm so confused now! if i don't get a BFP this month I may actually do both the CB and the checkers ones next month just to see, will cost a fair bit but i'm so confused now. I do have some low pain today so maybe the ovulation is still coming!! hope you get a positive OPK tomorrow fx xx

Ladies is it natural to ovulate at different times each month or would you usually always ovulate standard same time each month?

Morning ladies, hoping everyone had a nice weekend, weather in joburg is really great. We got a few drops of rain yesterday, but really nothing more than just a few, so my garden waits...

@NicolaF - so I follow a couple of groups on FB, and some of the ladies there have said that they didnt get great results on the smiley face ones, apparently there is a new one out that is even more sensitive (and I am guessing more expensive - but also dont know if we can get them in SA yet) that has a flashing smiley which means (apparently) that you need to hop on the good foot and do the bad thing like right away! But again, dont know if they are in SA yet.
@Maybebaby - excited with you, its really nice to have a group of ladies together that are all in the same boat

AFM - I used some ones that I got from Checkers last month and really liked them, using the dischem branded ones this month and cant say I like them, they dont make sense, there is no line that gets darker (from what I can tell at least) it either has a line or not and if it doesnt it is negative, so you cant even tell if you are "leading up" to ovulation. Anyway, I started testing this morning (CD11) and I am pretty sure I will get a positive tomorrow as I'm pretty sure I ovulate on CD13. Will test twice a day to make sure I dont miss it. We did the 2-3 day cut off to see if we can sway girl, my husband has been so sweet about this really. I think as much as I would like a girl, he would like one more

Lastly, thought for the day for us ladies: I'm not a princess that needs saving, I'm a frigging QUEEN! I've got shit handled
