Hi, I have been trying to conceive our second baby since May 2016. Our first baby was conceived naturally in January 2014 after I stopped the birth control pill in April 2013. I went to see Dr S Moodley at Waterfall hospital in January 2014 two days before ovulation occurred. She diagnosed me with pcos from the scan and bloodtests and referred me to Vitalab to see a FS. I did not follow her advise and conceived the very same week I saw her, yet she couldn't pick up that I was about to ovulate.

I switched to Dr W Hall at Parklane hospital during my pregnancy and delivered naturally in October 2014. Dr Hall has left the country since 2015 and I went off birth control again in April 2016. I visited Dr Van De Griendt in June 2016 but he didn't pick up pcos on his scan. We kept ttc with no luck this time around. So I went to see Dr M Milos at Sunninghill hospital in August 2017. He diagnosed pcos from the scan but didn't order any blood tests. He prescribed primolut to bring on a period and then 50mg clomid.

I had a cd21 progesterone test which he said was positive for ovulation. No positive hpt, period came on cd32. So again clomid 50mg and no cd21 test that month. That month Cd38 I still had no period and negative hpt so I asked his advise. He prescribed primolut again with 100mg clomid and cd 21 progesterone test was negative. He wanted me to take primolut again with 100mg clomid which I did not follow.

That was in December. In January I started taking inofolic on cd43 and my period started naturally on cd46. This has been the first month on inofolic and I have now started my period on cd33 so hopefully it continues to help and I ovulate naturally to conceive our second baby. Inofolic has reduced my cycle length so far...so that's a start.

Anyone with comments on how inofolic worked for them?

Can you please recommend a good gynae I can see going foward? Anyone went to Dr D Roussot at Waterfall hospital in Midrand?
