Went for my first follicle scan today (CD10) - 3 follicles 2 on one side, 1 on the other (can't remember which is which). Initially I was worried, because I thougth I would need at least 4 follies, but dr is happy with just 3. I may need another shot of menopur though - the dr will let me know has soon as he has my blood results.

Lalie - the bloods are done to test LH and E2, which I googled, and the dr's seem to have a formula to determine something in connection with the follie size...guess I have to google some more!

Klippie - sjoe tyd stap nader vir jou! Ek is nie seker waarvoor die bloods is nie, ek hoef glad nie bloods te gedoen het nie. Ek het my clomid gedrink vanaf cd3 - cd7, het vir scan gegaan op cd12, het vier follicles gehad wat regte grote was, en op cd12 die aand my ovidrel shot gekry om ovulasie aan te bring. Dalk moet jy vir suster vra waarvoor dit is, laat my weet as jy uitvind ek sal like om ook te weet!

Just a quick q: I'm seeing dr from Monday every day for sonar & straight afterwards nurse will draw blood. What's the blood for & when do I get results?

Ek het ook met my IUI begin gister op dag 4..so hoop die maand is ons maand.
Is vandag op dag 5 so ek, klippie en jy is baie naby mekaar.

OH Thx Sunrise, i also hope that the pains and lots of cm is positive, BUT won't get my hopes up in case the witch come, and then i am down again. So be it.
