Also start taking folic acid now. That is essential. Taking pregnancy vitamins is also a good idea but the folic acid is very important during your first 12 weeks so best to start taking it when you start TTC. I hope that your journey will be a smooth one. We had a tough time but it's so worth it in the end! Even considering number 2 (well I am) so that just tells you. Hi Shannon! Fancy meeting you here Congrats on the wedding and the new house. I still hear all the news even though I'm on leave. Just some tips - book an appointment now with a gynae. It's good to get checked out prior to falling pregnant. Also these gynaes can be tough to get in with so if you are already on their books it's much easier once you're preggies. I can personally recommend Christine Van Heerden at Milnerton MC and have heard that Tanya Victor at Netcare Blaauwberg is fantastic but very difficult to get in with. It really depends which hospital you prefer.

Hello to all you fantastic ladies!

Wow am i glad that i found this forum..and what a great webpage!

I was at a complete loss when PF went AWOL. The new site I battled with for a few days and then found some fimilar names here. It was like christmas discovering this page.

On PF i was fairly new - had only been on a few weeks. Was really upset as had just started the TTC May thread when it all came crashing down! Also during the day i use my blackberry to surf the net (IT monitors internet like a hawk) and the new PF and my blackberry is like sitting in morning traffic!

Let me do some quick info on myself again. I was Mrs W on PF, but felt so at home here - like first name basis so useing my first name now!

Im 34 years young, got married 1 April to my DH and now we will be TTC from TODAY!! Was in the process of changing my medical aid from momentum to discovery as now go onto discovery free via DH work and was just waiting for confirmation that no waiting period for claims. We got 100% go ahead today that i am on from 1 May with pregannacy been covered. Yay for that!

So now guess the fun starts! Ovulating around 14 May and praying I do not have to wait long to TTC!

It is such an exciting time of my life for me as we have also just bought a new house which we move into on 27 April. Wanted 3 bedrooms and a nice big garden for our soon to hopefully be family.
