how long does a hcg shot (ovidrel) stay in body

Hey girls!! Holding thumbs for all in your 2WW! Yup - Ika i was very eager to know how long the shot would stay in my system, and did an hpt every other day after my first and second iui. First iui 5dpo shot was out of my system, second iui BFN 8dpo bfp. But 8dpo is not the norm though. The hpt picked up less than 25mg hcg, as on 10dpo my hcg was only 30...

We are 6 DPIUI today! 6 days counting down.

I will wait with you till your birthday on the 3rd to test. Won't test on my Bday saturday!

So we are stressing, hoping and praying together! 6DAYS to GO.

We are entering the Implantation time (6 to 10 days past O date)

So exciting!

My FS said we should remember that the 3rd we might get a negative as it is still early, but he wants me to test my prostegen as well, and that is the latest we can test it. So he said I should do both.

ALSO a reality check was he said, if everything goes perfect, then we need to remember each cycle you only have a 30% chance for it to work. So we should stay positive but should not get to disappointed if it does not work out!

This is gonna be fun! We will eat cake and get gifts as it is our birthday weeks! And relax and not focus and the test on your Bday!

My IUI was done on my best friend from schools birthday by her dad! And then implantation will happen around my birthday, I we test on your birthday! This should be a great sign! And we will only tell people at 12 weeks and that would be on my sons Birthday! THAT IS A LOT OF BIRTHDAYS!

Ika I'm with you on the cramping - feel like AF is to arrive just not as prominent. I had a slight tiny bit of brown discharge last night so we're really praying and hoping it was implantation and not AF wanting to pitch like 8 days early!!

I'm to go for bloods on 4 Aug - my FS always waits 14 days post IUI to send you for bloods but I'm gonna test 3 Aug on my birthday Shame I can think you want to test on Saturday but you know what, I did same thing last month, tested from 8dpiui on hpt's, got faint positives and few days later AF arrived - I was quite heartbroken. That's why I decided NOT to use HPT's again this month, I'll rather go for the bloods! I wouldn't test yet if I were you - 9dpo is very early and you could get a BFP from Ovidrel shot still

That is why I asked about the Ovidrel, it is my birthday this saterday, the 31 July and even though I know it is way way way to early I want to test. It will be 9 DPO on saterday, but I don't wanna test and get a false BFP!!!
MY FS said I should test on the 3 August? YOU?

I can't seem to find it's half life. My injection site is still sore 16 days later. Grrrr.

How are you doing? Any symptoms yet?

With my first IUI the ovidrel shot was still in my system up to 10dpiui. I know with Paisley her's was out of her system by 5dpiui. It differs for every woman so best is to wait until bloodtest that FS will send you for. I am going to do mine a day earlier though as it will be the day of my bday

Hi, ihad my hcg shot on thursday the 21 and had iui on the 22. How long after your shot do you O and hwo long after shot can you test without a false positive
