exclamation-circle Drowning does not look like drowning

This is a real eye opener.

My mom's ex-boss's grandson drowned in their pool a week ago. He is currently brain dead but his father is refusing to shut off the life support. He is praying that his son will make a full recovery.

Thanks for posting this gem. I would never even have thought to check on this as I was under the very mistaken impression that I was sufficiently informed..

Thanks for sharing this!

A baby in our area drowned a month ago and the mother was close by - was a real shock.

Wow - what a powerful article - especially if reading the comments after the article.

Definitely need to "bump" this thread every few months so moomies can be reminded of it.

Thanks, would probably never have come across this article on my own.

Thanks for that! I have often heard of children drowning and always wondered: "why was no one watching them!?"
