October Testing

Hi Evry one,

Ronel you are in a tuff spot I am always worried about conviening myself that it could be as the disapointment is always that much bigger. Well the logical thing would be to not do a test and if you then end up paying one month for the meds so bee it the first month you have your baby you will then not pay as you have mends left over.................................................................
But listen LETS FACE IT NONE OF US TTC are logical, rational and non emotional, take the pregancny test Just be sure that you are ready for the bomb shell if it is a negative. I always find it more difficult to see the lonely one line on the stick than to have AF arrived, i think it is because by the time a take a HPT I have pritty much convinced myself that this is the month I will finally get my BFP. So be very carefull with your emotions and how you handell this. Which ever you decide and what ever the outcome we at moomies are here

Giggles, shoe what a ride, we have trying for about two years now and last month I actuaaly told hubby that I want to stop trying to have kids go back on the pill and just feel normal again the this emotional reck that I tend to be these days ( with the skin of a 16yr old ) He was great and we worked through it and decided to go on with this path and hope for the best. I can baerly imagine what 6 years must have been like for you. I trully hope that you find another miricle soon to add joy to your families life.

Firstly I would like to say that if it wasn't for this group when I was TTC with my first LG I would have gone insane.

My LG is 16months and we are trying for number 2. Since having her I have not been on any contraceptive. I had a long long roller coaster ride trying to conceive the first time round. and I am so wishing that this time is a little bit easier.

To: the ladies that are trying don't give up. Always have hope that one day you will conceive. I know its hard, ver hard. I was once there. (After almost 6 years we conceived).

Firstly, good luck to everyone testing in October. I myself know what an emotional rollercoaster TTC is.

Here is my story :

Our LG is 16 months. When trying to get pregnant with my LG I did the whole temperature charting and the whole experience was extremely emotional for me. It took us 6 months to conceive my LG. We decided to start TTC for another baby from December onwards but I stopped the pill in July as it took us a while to conceive the first time round after stopping the pill. If we conceive before dec thats also fine with us.

AF is due on saturday. I have decided to take it easy this time and let nature runs it course, but it is not so easy. I am not charting again but this month our timing was spot on. I ovulated on the saturday (I know this because I had extreme ovulation pain and it was day 14) and we BD on the friday evening. So secretly I am really hoping it happened this month for us.

The thing is: I am on chronic bloodpressure medication and as soon as I fall pregnant my medication needs to be changed. I need to fetch my new month's supply of medication on thursday. But I don't want to buy it if I am pregnant because thats a waste of money and then I need to buy new medication which I am allowed to drink when pregnant. Thats double expenses! So I don't know if I should do a home test on thursday morning or go for a bloodtest. But how do I explain this to my gynea so that she can give me a form for the bloodtest. What do you ladies think?

I am also so scared to get excited because the dissapointment if I am not pregnant is just to much too handle. Also, a friend of mine at work just found out she is 7 weeks pregnant. I am extremely glad for her but I do hope that I am as well.

Well I am starting on m second round of fertomid this month, so in a time span of about 15 min this will be what I experience ( ) Notice how very excited I am... NOT!

Good luck to you to, As for the Folic Acid, I have only noticed the bad skin with myself. Feels like I'm 16 again. Hope all goes well for your DH as well this month!

1st Timer, Good luck with your clomid cycle as well! hope it doesn't cause too much havoc. I also pray that this month brings you a BFP!
I know you can buy the Staminogro over the counter, but do you need a prescription for the sperm-i-prove? Want to get DH on something as well, and does it have adverse side affects. Hubby doesn't handle nausea well, stopped taking previous multi vit due to Nausea.

Yup I will ovulate on Thursday and test around the 17th. On 3rd cycle clomid, dh on sperm-i-prove, me on pregnavit, mumomega and staminogro.

So who is testing in October ?
I would like to send out a special prayer to Liz as well as Ilse. I was really sorry to read
about AF arriving there is no other word IT SUCKS!!!!!!!! If any thing I can say I know how you feel
and last month for me was particularly rough month when AF arrived I am thinking of you both especially of you liz with the next round of fertility treatment.
Dinky I would like to send a special bag of Baby dust to you as well as I know you are still waiting to see what the result is. Good luck and we all hope you a BFP.

Now after all the baby dust has been sprinkled and the good thoughts and prayers sent
out, who is testing in October? This is the first month that I have been on Folic Acid and
let me tell you I could feel the effects. I was so much more emotional around the time
of OV’s and my skin is even worse this month and it could distinctively feel the OC.
The funny thing is that on Thursday I felt the OC and had the disgorge ( sorry TMI ) then
Friday I felt all down coz we didn’t do the BD and I thought I had missed this month then
all of a sudden the I felt OC in the other ovary not so much discharge but deff more OC
so I am almost sure that on the folic acid I ovulated twice
Hubby is also on staminogrow as from this month ( I know that there has been mixed
reviews about this in the Moomie forum but thought hey its worth a try ) so here I am
probably about 4/3 DPO and I am cramping like crazy I think I am probably trying to
symptom spot
I have a cycle between 29 – 35 days so its always difficult to know when AF is going to
arrive and when the soonest is that I can test.

Would love to hear what you guys are going through in your 2WW
