To do or not to do??

Hi Ladies,

I know this is a sensitive topic and I'm not attacking anyone in here but I am entitled to also give my opinion on this.

I am pro vaccine, I read books by Dr. Paul Offit. I visit websites like www.voicesforvaccines.org

I am absolutely pro vaccine. I used to be anti vax untill I started doing proper research on this and reading books by authors like Dr. Paul Offit et al. (who is a Paediatrician with a specialisation in infectious diseases, not a GP, not a former Playboy model but someone with proper credentials (referring to the old "I wouldn't take my broken car to a doctor" logic))


I just feel about this that I can't believe that someone would willingly put my little girl in danger of contracting a disease for which she's still to little to be immunized against and compromise our herd immunity because of quack science. I know people who cannot be vaccinated due to having received transplants and I know that vaccinating my baby also helps them not to contract a horrible disease that our parents and grandparents might have suffered under.

Well, there's my 2 cents worth on this one.

This will always be a sensitive topic unfortunately but I would suggest to join both groups to hear both sides of the story IF that is even possible because one is very pro & the other one very anti.

I have not vaccinated my 3rd Child completely but second that you go to the Vaccine Awareness Facebook page. I think you will get some valuable information on there.

Check out the VASA facebook page (Vaccine Awareness SA). There are lots of mommies on there that have never vaccinated.

I would like to know if there is any mommies out there who has NOT Vaccinate their kids EVER and their kids are over 3 and are still deciding on not doing it? You can pm me if you want to keep this private. I am 20 weeks pregnant and would like to know from Mommies who has gone on this journey...
