Hi Girly, congrats with your baby!
At such a young age, I wouldn't worry about stimulation. It is enough for your LO just to be alive!! Spending time together like you say, talking to her is great. This is time to bond with your baby not to worry about is she getting enough stimulation. At this age they get overstimulated very easily, I would try and limit stimulation untill a bit older.

The Babysense book gives great guidelines as to how much stimulation they should be getting at what age and what type of stimulation.

Enjoy this special time, cuddling, kissing, talking and then some more cuddling or maybe a quick massage for baby.

Hello ladies

Please can you tell me what you do to stimulate your baby when awake when younger than a month?

K is 3 and a half weeks old, and during her waking time, which is about an hour after each feed during the day.
I sit and talk to her, and show her the black & white picture which she loves, but to what extent do they need your stimulation when awake and is there a point where you should lie them down to avoid overstimulation at this age?
I feel bad to lie her down when she is still awake like I am not using this time wisely.
