To all the mommies battling with little ones teething like my little angel who is now just over 1years old. PRODOL works like a bomb but you can't used it longer than 5 days 10days other product! It has an extract for cocaine. It works like a bomb! After using it on Jean-Pierre, I stuck my finger in my month with out thinking, 'well hello blondie!' I had a dead tongue for four hours

I used Ashton's & Parsons as well as teejel and it didn't do anything. Used Vidol for 2 days and the pain was gone. With some of the other teething powders you generally need to give them some Panado or Calpol for the pain, but Vidol already contains paracetamol so it is not necessary.

Thanks for the support guys, it has been quite a drama. I am quite surprised to have succeeded at my second nap for today! I was wondering about the follow with a little liquid. O and J doesnt want to eat either. Also it's a bit of a thing getting him to take a bottle seriously.. he thinks it's a toy. Prodol. Thanks!

I was recommended vidol by my clinic and started using it yesterday. It works well I find but makes J sleepy. I don't use anywhere near the full dosage though. Basically stick your fingure in baby's mouth and then in the powder and rub on his gums. I do that twice. It contains paracetamal (sp) so the pharmacist said use it at night. It does say follow with milk or whatever but to be honest yesterday I forgot and he's no worse for wear :)

I am not really a Vidol fan, as it should be followed with Liquid of some form, or it could cause throat infections, but I LOVED Prodol - used it on myself once or twice when a filling feel out and my tooth was sore

Hi Memo,

Shame teething is a very difficult time for baby and mom!

I must honestly say that the teething powders did not give any relief to my son when he was teething.
What I used was Prodol, teejel and a teething mixture my pead prescribed that the pharmacy mixes for you! I was not too fond of last mentioned as I did not know what all the ingredients were! Prodol gave my son the most relief, and I am using it till today as he is cutting his 2 year molars!

Goodluck!

What do you guys think of this product?
I must say I really had medicating my boy, but lately he's just been so cranky and it looks like all he's bottom teeth are coming out simultaniously...
please if you have any comments, I would love to know.
