Rash on baby's face

Hi. I would suggest using Epimax or Nutriderma Baby. My son had a rash around his mouth for about 4 weeks. At first I put it down to be a teething rash but when it just did not go away, I took him to the paed and she said it is a drooling rash but he also has a bit of eczema. She perscribed Advantan cream for 5 days. The rash cleared up nicely. She told me to use the Advantan each time the rash comes back but it has not since. Advantan is a perscription cream but worked really well and you can't use on an ongoing basis.

Hi Suriya...babies skins are very sensitive and some babies are lucky.
With my 1st child, I had no problems at all, I used Elizabeth Anne's products and she still uses them even now, and she has had no skin problem at all...

Now with my 2nd baby she has a touch of eczema, but not so severe. I struggled so much before it was diagnosed coz I just thought it was something that would go away, but I was worried coz I used J&J non fragranced products from day 1 but nothing worked, tried Elizabeth Annes, nothing till I took her to a Paed and he prescribed an Emulsifying Ointment to bath her and Persivate as a moisturiser and they work wonders...her skin is so perfect now but if she goes a day without any of them, it shows, so I guess I have to use them till whenever...

hi there... epimax is the best for baby's skin ... please make sure your lil one has not developed eczema on her face which is fairly common in babies. My LG had that and had an ointment prescibed for her.

The rash may be related to teething...

My son has eczema and I use the J&J unscented aqueous (the blue one) and that is also fine...Also use Epizone for his body.

And you are right it could also be a heat rash..

when my little one was younger - frm newborn till abt 3 months he wud have rash every other week. we did go to the pead hu gave him something however it wud always come back. we were also using J & J products. i then decided to change to Elizabeth Anne for his bathing and moisturizing products. it worked wonders. I think J&& is quite harsh. He hasnt had rash ever since.

I will try Physiogel. I use Epizone E on her body, so will try it on her face as well. I think it might have something to do with the heat as well. No, she hasn't been eating anything new recently.
