I tried keeping her in an upright position yesterday and it work she didn't throw up.Then last night after she had her feed I forgot to and she was lying on her doughnut when she started to cry. I then picked her up and that was my mistake... I had to get changed as the milk was flying in all directions.
I don't think I will ever lay her down after a feed again , I'm now tired of being vomited on.hehe

Nicky, my sister had the same problem with her LB. A friend told her to change his bottles to Dr. Browns. She tried this after having tried the AR milk (didn't help) and I swear to goodness - no more vomitting with Dr. Browns!!!!! She just bought 2 bottles at first to check if it works before switching over completely. The bottles fits into her Avent Sterilizer, so it wasn't to expensive to swop.

Good luck!!

Another option to try is to give half the amount of milk twice as often.

So if for instance one bottle is 60ml (i'm guessing - i have no idea how much a normal bottle is), and she drinks that every 4 hours, then rather try giving her 30ml every 2 hours. Sometimes the smaller amounts helps.

Hopes this makes sense!

I stopped breastfeeding at 4 weeks as i wasnt producing enough milk and i must say life was horrible those first 4 weeks. I even regretted having Connor as i just couldnt cope. Anyway that is a different story for a different day.

You will find a lot of moms will tell you to try the Novalac AR (very expensive!!)My sister had a very refluxing baby and she checked out the Novalac and found that the main ingredient that was different to others was cornflour (please dont quote me on this - was ages ago) anyway, she then used Maizena in all her LG's bottles (made the the formula thicker which helps them to keep it down). So instead of using water from the kettle you use boiled maizena water. So the ratio is 1tsp for every 100ml that you give actually just a little bit less, so for example if you give your LG 700ml milk a day then you use 6tsps. You cook it on the stove and then take it off when it starts to boil. Once cooled, pour it into the bottles and add formula like you would normally do. I tried it with my LB and yes it did help him but he ended up constipated (he's very prone to constipation). Its just a suggestion, you can chat to your paed about it first.
