Oh that is wonderful! Ems face has broken out in the worst rash, spottyness. I think because her granny used her expensive purfumed stuff on Em's face, but I'll get this to help get it back to normal :)

Have to share this because I am soooo pleased with the results!!

At 5 weeks old, my LG woke up with inflamed skin on her face, scalp, neck and back. I took her straight to the paed and he diagnosed her with eczema and prescribed Advantan Fatty Ointment, but warned me that it was a cortizone cream and could therefore not be used for long periods because it thins the skin. We started using it and noticed an immediate improvement, but her skin only stayed clear until she went to lay down and when she woke up, it would be completely inflamed again. I used the advantan for 5 days and then stopped because I didn't want to cause long term damage to her skin and I could see that the relieve was only temporary. Then, my SIL who is a pharmacist recommended a product from the Bioderma Range - it's called Bioderma Atoderm PO Zinc. It is a cream for the treatment of irritated, very dry skin or rashes for adults, children or babies. I bought it at Dischem for R150 and have been using it for 3 weeks and WOW - her skin is beautiful, one would never, ever guess that she had bad eczema 3 weeks ago!!! I spoke to the pead and he says it is safe to use everyday, as the only active ingredient in it is zinc. I am so happy we found this product and YEAH!!, no more cortizone creams!!!

Just thought I would share incase there are any mommies here whose kiddies may need it.
