Hi
I have never tried that remedy before, but my son was also like that up until 6 months of age, he is now 13 months and it is going better. Sometimes it is a stage they go through and sometimes it is due to teething. Try and rub something on her gums. Prodol is really good. Also be sure to have a set routine in the evening. For instance, I bath Ewan, feed him, play, bottle, play, then sleepy time. I also make sure he is tired enough to go to sleep. When he wakes up after that, I do not pick him up at all. I leave him in the cot and give him bottel and if he does not want that, I give his dummy. When it is time to change his nappy, I leave him in the cot and change his nappy in the cot, I don't even put on bum cream at night and done this for 10 months like that and he never got a nappy rash. When he wakes in the morning, I clean is bum thoroughly and apply thick bum cream with some powder. Don't pick them up unecessarly in the night, they get use to it and sometimes wake just to be cuddled. Some babies tend to sleep very little, I know, my little one never sleeps, he now sleeps and hour in the morning and a half an hour the afternoon and still does not sleep through at night. This is just how he is, also a light sleeper and also catnapped during the day when he was younger. The less they are picked up at night the better, that way the learn that night time is sleepy time for everyone. It can be frustrating, but it really does get better, it is not just a saying, I can vouch for this. Good luck to you.
