Jewel I really hope that she outgrows this stage of 'pulling out the rekkie' soon haha :)

Aha..I don't have patience and after the 3rd time I try to get her hair tied up and she pulls it out again..I usually give up!! :)

My LG use to pull out her "rekkie" all the time as well. but I was adamant to 'play' with her hair. :) so I persisted, and now after months of her pulling the thing out - she keeps it in. So depending on your patience... good luck!!

Well on the good side, her hair will always grow back :)

Im sure she is just at that stage where she will keep opening her pony tail. Hopefully she will outgrow it in time to come.

Thanks for the reply Jewel :)

Mignione's hair isn't very long at the moment..just long enough to be able to put into one ponytail so it's on that irritating stage I think :) I've tried hair clips but she pulls it out and then put it in her mouth so I'm so scared that it gets stuck (I'm a paranoid mom haha).

Maybe I then have to think about getting her hair cut? :( I didn't want to but now that it's summer I'm going to have to :(

Thanks for the advice!! ;)

Hi Marilu

Well I always love little girls to have long hair :) I think it looks so sweet. You can also try clipping her hair up with a little hair grip? Maybe the band that you are tying her hair with is pulling her hair/ hurting her.

I know when i have my hair in a ponytail, it sometimes pulls my hair & annoys me.

If the grip doesnt work, than rather cut her hair into a shorter hairstyle thats more manageable.

For the curls, a detangle spray works like a charm, to keep the hair a bit tame.

Hi there

Mignione is 1.4months old now, and she's got HECTIC curly hair. It was fine in winter, but now in summertime I would really like to make her hair in a ponytail cause she sweats so much on her head and I can see that it's bothering her.

But she REFUSES to keep in the ponytail..she pulls out the 'rekkie' after I make the ponytail. What am I going to do if she pulls out the thing the whole time and it's SO flippen hot and her hair is soaking wet of her sweating? Should I cut her hair?
