Dylan had colic and although he seemed to hate being swaddled it did help him especially with the morro reflex where their arms and legs move alot.

Desiree I have only seen the bean bag hand thingy which I guess would be the same as the blanket. sounds good so give it a try.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Nope never heard of it. As long as he won't be able to move down and then can't get out?

I never swaddled my kids either. I think babies hate it cause you wrap their hands 'away' and most babies like to have their hands moving and by their faces etc.

I was in Dischem yesterday and I saw this weighted baby blanket - which apparantly helps keep baby feeling snug and similar to the way he felt in the womb, like when he is swaddled. Anyway, my Connor hates being swaddled - so now I'm thinking of getting this blanky, has anyone else heard of this weighted blanket? I did some research on the net, and there are positive comments about it!

My beautiful baby boy, Connor Troy, was born on 20 March 2010 and my 2nd gorgeous boy, Cullen Reece, was born on 2 September 2011 - I am very blessed indeed
