I never tried a wrap but i still simply love my Baby sense sling. Once you get the hang of it it worked like a dream com true. I still use it for my 17month old whenever we are out and about. We never used the pram or stroller at all.

Hi MommyN :)
I've downloaded the instructions for the SeeMeBaby wrap from Youtube as I didn't want to pay the extra money for the cd as well.
Maybe you can find instructions for the UbbaBaba one on there too and it might show you how to get his head more support?
Or if it's a lot like the one I ordered, maybe you can implement the same instructions? I know one of the ways to carry they call the "hammock" for newborns where baby is lying more sideways and head is supported.

Good luck with your shopping trip! Hope it goes well and you have a fun time. :)

I have a UbbaBaba one as well as one made by a friend. I have also been given a proper sling/pouch thing, but far prefer the wrap!

I am using it everyday for my LB who is now 10 weeks old, but was born at 33 weeks.

I never used it with my LG, being a first time mom I just carried her around! But this time round, I dont have the time to carry him around. I need a free hand especially at the niggly time of late afternoon/early evening.

Can anyone tell me exactly how to put him in it so that his head is a bit more supported? Or is it not possible until later? At the moment I use it alot, but still use one hand/arm to support him. I am too scared to totally leave him without me supporting him. Hopefully it will get easier - and I am looking forward to when when I can put him forward facing!

The only thing is that he often falls asleep in it and then I dont know how to get him out of it without waking him.. I untie it as gently as possible and then step out of it and put him down with half the cotton still wrapped around him! Any other suggestions?

Today is probaby the first day I am going shopping with him in it - as my LG is only 17 months old, I need to put her in the pram/trolley and will have him in the sling... hope it goes well!

Karin, hope you enjoy your sling too!

Thanx girls! Looking forward to using it with my LG. :) :) Didn't have something with my other two, so I'm excited to try it.

I also have a baby wrap and I LOVE it! It's perfect especially while they are still small. It supports both, baby and your back very well and is nice and soft unlike most slings. You'll get the hang of the whole wrapping procedure in no time, no worries. My LG is now 7 months old and loves sitting in it facing outwards when we go for walks etc.

My LG was a real 'arm baby' for the first 4 months, I could never put her down, so the wrap was a life saver for me. It's also very good for colicky babies as the deep touch calms them down.

I have another wrap, not sure what the name is but it is exactly the same style as the one you show here.

Honestly, I far prefer the wrap to any sling etc I've tried. It is intimidating the first time or so you fold it - but is actually quite easy once you have the hang of it.

I must admit though, I really only started using it once my little girl could keep her neck steady. I also haven't used it all that much in the hot weather but it is fairly cool when you wrap it so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Hi all :)

Just ordered my SeeMeBaby Wrap ~ was just wondering if anyone has this wrap and used it and what your feelings are about it?
Seems very nice and user friendly, now hoping it will be.
