Sterkte.

Thanks Ankia, I kind of had an idea I would have to do it this way to get him off the milk. I have full tin, do you think I should finish it or start immediately and only let him have 1 bottle formul at school and one before bed at night? he still wakes for a bottle at night but then I give him cows milk and that's ok. I can see huuuuuge tantrums coming here.

Hy het my humeur ge-erf Ankia!!!!

2km, I hear you and I had the same problem.
but W is nou 30months, and still have one bottle of cows milk a day
We went from nido to parmalat to cows milk.
I just refused to give him his bottle, I would offer him water in a sippy bottle and he would throw it at me, but I just standed my guard. I just refused

And guess what, he eats so much better. He gets a bottle with his afternoon nap. And he now asks for food and he eats it.
Never could get breakfast into him before 10h00 now he eats at 07h00 in the morning and eats it all up.

I just say that you just have to refuse, and you will see after 3 days that it will get better, and put the tin of milk somewhere were he can not get it.

You will have to be strong for that 3 days, it is going to be lots of tears but you will see that it will get better. I just put water out where ever he is playing, and he drinks so much water now it is unbelievable.

Please let me know how it is going

My LG, 20mnths, also loves her formula and refuses cows milk. She use to drink about 4 x 225ml Nido per day and night but I started to reduce it and now she's having 3 x 150ml during day and when she wakes up during the night and demands a bottle I only give her 100ml and I'm going to reduce that to like 50ml soon because I don't think she actually needs it and only wakes up out of habit. Since I started reducing the amount she drinks she started eating more solid food. When she's teething she drinks a bit more and eat less but normally it only lasts for a week or two.

ladies with Kids over 18 months.

My Son is 23 Months and has been on Formula fulltime since about 6 months. He's always loved his milk and ate solid food happily until about 13 months when suddenly he started refusing solid food and to this day is still an extremely fussy and picky eater. My Problem is that up until about 15 months he was still drinking 5 formula bottles through the Day and night and I knew I needed to get him weaned off it. I started to introduce cows milk and alternated with the Two. At that stage he was on Nido but I took him off it after a few months when Jems mentioned it was so high in Sugar. I put him onto Lactogen nr 3 which he loves and he was happy with alternating and at that stage I had gotten him down to 2 bottles of Formula and 2 Bottles of Cows Milk. What has happened now is really worrying me. Since the Holidays he has been refusing to drink the Cows milk and demands endless bottles of Formula. When I say demands I mean I will pour the Cows Milk and he will scream and shout No and then throw the bottle. He goes off to the cupboard and fetches the heavy formula tin and proceeds to cry until I make him the formula. he is back to around 4 bottles of Formula milk a day and then i manage to slip a Cows Milk in here and there. he cries alot for milk these days which he never used to do and so I really don't know what to do about it

What could this be and How do you or would you try get it back to normal? I'm worried about his Teeth also because he will only drink it from a bottle not a cup of Sippy.
