Just got them now! They look awesome, thank goodness it is going to be chilly over the weekend otherwise my poor child will be walking around in summer heat with a beautiful beanie on her head!'

MommyN its not that difficult at all. if you search 'crochet' on you tube there is people that show you step by step how to crochet and to make a hat.

i love to crochet but what i dont like is that with crochet your work doesnt stretch that much so you have to make it perfect. with knitting it is more stretchier and some times a lot more soft!

My knitting is a disaster! Although my sewing and embrodery is good. With my dominant left hand I knitted a baby cap in Standard 5 and the one side was longer than the other side!

If only someone could show me! But I guess with 2 kids under 2 I dont really have the time, evenings are spent catching up on admin and doing housework and by the time thats finished its 11pm!

Oneday... I have 2 kids and 3 step-children, so hopefully there will be lots of grandkids oneday! LOL

skip next dc, dc into next dc, dc into skipped dc... that will give you a cross...

thats my best guess as to what it is...
