Looking for a new Paed in Pretoria?

I've decided that when I get a chance at work to take soem time off then I'll take Joshua just for a full check up and establish a relationship with Dr Spannenberg.

Not in need of a PAed now, but good to have as a backup for our GP.

ee,Dr Spannenberg is great. Conservative, so doesnt just prescribe a grocery list - first asks what you have!

Our Missy was there last week, and he said lets first try treat before giving an antibiotic, which I appreciate. Twice before this has worked out, this time she is still not well, so I just called this morning and he gave the script telephonically to the chemist.

He is fully 100% covered by medical aids. I have never paid a cent - not even the first visit.

He runs on time.

Most days he if you need to see him, he will make a plan to see you the same day.

He is excellent.

I know a few Moomie mommies who use Dr Spannenberg!



The Kidco paeds at Pretoria East are also very good - they attend to my LB who was born 7 wks prem. Drs Lotter, Du TOit (Jnr) and Visser. But very expensive and you pay and claim back, med aid only pays certain amount so you dont get refunded fully.

I am looking for a new Paed in the Pretoria East area. I was with Dr du Toit at Wilgers hospital but I am not too happy anymore.....

I need someone that will charge medical aid rates too, if possible. I prefer Wilgers Hospital over Pretoria East but any recommedations are welcome.
