Argh! What a shock and now to be in hospital. I am sure the 2 are not related, but shame man!

I know about the driving thing, my mom once phoned me when she was in an armed robbery and said goodbye because she thought it was the end (she was in a room they threw her into while they were taking stuff and before leaving) and I drove like a mad women from Centurion to Jhb in like 10 mins! I remember the adrenelin just taking over! I do remember one man pointing a zap at me because I yielded at a red robot and he was next to me before I just went (it was safe).

For a few days it will all play through your mind, but it will get easier!

If you are interested, maybe you should get yourself (and your mom) something for shock? I spoke to a naturalist who said shock can stay with us for ages! I have put myself and my kids on some homeopathic things for our experience early Dec last year when my LB was born 7 weeks early. I cant tell you the difference in all of us in the last 3 weeks, we'd all been bottling the shock experience for 4 months! It cant do any harm, and when your LG is out of hospital you can give her some too!

Hope Emily is bright as sunshine real soon! Wishing her a speedy recovery! Its good that you are talking it all through!

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately, it doesn't get better Emily was admitted to hospital last night/this morning with severe dehydration She would not eat or drink anything yesterday and started throwing up violently at 2AMish this morning we rushed her to ER and she was admitted. She is now bein fed via a tube through her nose and not a happy baby at all Has bronchitis and they suspect also rotavirus - her stool samples just went to the lab, so we are waiting on those results to confirm rotavirus.

Girly and Yaz - just as well I cancelled that playdate!!!
