Left hand preference

Hi Niki

My DH is left handed and I am right. Both my kids showed from very early (also around 6 months) that they preferred the left and now they are both very definately left handed. Keep an eye on it because it may still change but I think by the time she is 2 you will know for sure.

Zhanelle also had a preference for her left hand right from the start. She is now 2 and still uses her left hand for eating. drawing and playing.
DH & I are right handed but MIL is a lefty.

You will find that she may switch between the hands for some time to come.

Dylan also seemed to prefer his left hand at one stage, but is now mostly right handed although sometimes he still feeds himself with his left hand.

Hi Ladies,

we have been watching my littel girl who is just over 6 months now and she definately shows a preference for using her left hand, she picks up toys and eats with her left hand.

My DH and I are both right handed.

Do you think this preference indicates she may be left handed, just intereted in your experience ?
