I agree which what the other Moomie moms said.
I like a fan heater, but it is the kind of thing that I would put on if you walked in to a cold room, and needed to change baby and wanted the air to be warmed quickly.
Short spurts of intense heat, shall we say.
You could run it on low, but it gets really hot and quite stifling in a small room.
I personally would not use if for extended periods of time:
1. It dries the air out.
2. Can make a closed room very hot, very quickly.
3. Ideally need a door or a window open and then it sort of defeats the object of the exercise.
4. Uses quite a bit of electricity if you are having to run it for extended periods of time.
I have used the wall heaters - Econoheat (I think) and really am chuffed with them.
Warms the room, without making it hot, costs effective to run, does not break the bank to buy them, easy to install, toddler cannot burn themselves on it.
