nappy rash - advice please

Hi,
If you're using wet wipes,stop and wash with just warm water, dry and apply a layer of daktarin cream and then your normal barrier cream.
When all is clear you can go back to using your wipes.

thanks Patty - i have read about those 2 creams as well - just wanted some more experienced mommies to tell me how it worked for them. i will go and buy the creams. im in CT and its cold and rainy so not sure i can leave her without nappy but will try (no sunlight here today either thanks again

Hi Emmas.

Use a mixture of nystacid ointment and bactroban ointment. It clears it quicker, then u can go back to de Sudocream once it has cleared.

If it's warm where u r, then apply the ointment mixture and leave ur LG without a nappy for a little while (u may even expose it to a bit of sun light)

my LG has picked up a nasty rash around her genitals - it appears as little pimples almost and after researching it seems like its fungal nappy rash? i have read to treat this with fungal cream. Please let me know if any of you have experienced this and how on earth do you put cream on without the nappy wiping it off? the minute i close the nappy it all comes off
also what creams/ointments work best. i have bennets, fissan, sudocreme and nothing is clearing it up as i have yet to obviously get the fungal cream. anyone seen a similar rash on their little ones? it looks sore but she doesnt seem to complain that much
