Watery eyes and snotty nose

That's fine justinek. As long as it isn't the medicated drops. Illiadin drops are fine for blocked noses but shouldn't be used for more than 3 days and I find if you use the saline early enough he is fine. If there is extra mucus I suction it out gently.

Thanks ladies, at this stage im not worried but it looks like he is teary eyed the whole time.
I also think its just the symptoms.

Julz, Saline, is it those Bennets nose drops cause thats what I have been using?

Generally with measles they get a fever and then a couple of days later the rash comes out.

They can get symptoms about 10 days later. Dylan got a rash etc but he had a bug at the same time.

Your lo probably just has a virus which will go in a few days. Viruses either have low grade fevers and Dylan doesn't always get fevers even when infection is present.

Just monitor your lo and if he is uncomfortable give some panado and use saline for the nose to keep the nose clean.

If his symptoms get worse contact the doctor.

Since Saturday my LB, 10 months, has runny eyes(like tears) and its been watery and he has had such a snotty nose. He isnt sick cause he doesnt have a cough or fever. I was reading in one of the baby mags, signs of measles are watery eyes and runny nose. He had his measles injection on the 23rd April. They said he could get symptoms of measles 7-10 days afterwards.
Do you think it could be just the symptoms or is something else wrong like he is getting measles? What else should I look out for?
