Thanks for the replies, When I potty trained him, I think I waited like a 2 weeks to take the nappy at night, he had accidents of course, I used to put a plastic thing under the linen, but he eventually got it, and wakes up if he needs to go. Thanks god for that :-D

I agree with the ladies. At 3 your son is doing really well. Dylan also gets really busy and that is usually when he has an accident. The main thing is to praise him when he uses the potty and when he has an accident to just be calm and kind and change him. An accident is just that.

Dylan is just under 3 and doing well with training. Still in nappies during the night. I am going to wait a while before even trying the night thing. I expect many bed wettings which is normal. Best is to make sure you have plenty of sheets. You could layer the sheets with linen protectors so that you can possibly just peel of a layer if there is an accident in the middle of the night.

Where there is a change at home, like I go away on business etc he will go backwards slightly for a few days. All normal.

My son will be 3 in Aug
He is still in nappies at night, as he drinks lots of water during the night and does not wake yet to go to the bathroom.
W also have accidents when he is just to busy outside and he can not "knyp" for long.
When I see he is starting to pinch and "knyp" I will ask him, and then he will go.
Loris your LB is doing great, and LB are little bit slower with the potty training. So just remind him often and I am sure he will remember to go.

I can't tell you how to fix it. My son is 3.5 years old and we have been in no hurry to potty train him, we doing as he is ready. He only properly potty trained at the beginning of this year (3 exactly) and still occassionally has accidents. At night he is still in a nappy because he is not ready to go all the way through. And I have a lot of friends with kids around the same age that are in a similiar situation. My point is that if your LB is not even 3 and is doing so well, that is great. Maybe just 'big it up' for a few days and do some extra reminders. Well done to you and your boy!

Well my 4yr old son is fully potty-trained, BUT there are nights that he also has 'accidents'...I try to stop his liquid intake by 17h00 and send him to the loo almost every hour before bedtime.

I know how u feeling Loris, I get very angry when I discover he wet his bed!

maybe go back to basics - take him off to the loo every 20 minutes or so. They often get so caught up in whatever they are doing that they try hold it in for as long as possible, and then it is too late

 how can it be, he learned before he was 2, he wakes up during the night if he needs to go, but when he is outside playing or sometimes when he is inside with us, he will let some wee out, and wouldn't say he wants to go, or he grabs his thingy and waits for us to ask!!!! I don't know what to tell him anymore, he says sorry and all, but keeps doing it, he is gonna start school in SEPT, so I need to fix this!!! helpppp :(
