If you're worried about the wear and tear on the clothes while crawling, just use you old socks over the child's pants. you can cut the feet off so they look like leg warmers.

I never used knee pads for Liam. When he started crawling I just put him in long pants!
Babies are born with cartilage as kneecaps which start to turn to bone as they grow so crawling isn't as uncomfortable for them as it is for us.

I never used knee pads for Liam. When he started crawling I just put him in long pants!
Babies are born with cartilage as kneecaps which start to turn to bone as they grow so crawling isn't as uncomfortable for them as it is for us.

I'm stressing about him getting carpet burns or hurting his knee's on the tiles

I also bought them and never used them while Emily was learning to crawl. Now that she is a pro - I sometimes put it on over her pants when she insists on crawling around on wet grass in her pretty clothes.

I got mine from Baby Boom.
