Thanks 1st timer, I got her some cough syrip earlier, but the cough isn't bad so have it just in case. Am just giving her lots of fluids and keeping an eye on her temparature.

Think its just a cold and just hope she gets over it soon...

I wouldn't worry about it. Under a year you can use a saline spray for the nose and Prospan for the cough. From my experienxe the paed is unlikely to do anything else unless she has an ear infection. Take calpol with you on case she gets a fever and some pediatric illiadin in case the nose gets really bad. Make sure she's drinking fluids.

Enjoy your holiday!

Hi there

It could be the start of flu..have you considered giving her some homeopathic meds?
Euphorbium nose spray is great..also I use Coryzalia from boiron along with Oscillicoccinum when she starts with flu..
You can also give some Septoguard..

Hi Ladies,

This is the first time that Paige has seemed sick since she was born and so I am not sure what to do.

She doesnt have a temparature, but has a constantly running nose and sneezing lots and when she sneezes she coughs a little, this started yesterday and she was miserable. She seems happier today :)

I would probably just let her get over it on her own, since there isnt a temparature, but we are going away for a week on thursday and I dont want to be stuck at the coast with a sick baby and far from her Dr.

should I jsut take her to my gp for a quick checkover before we leave, or am I being paranoid ?

thanks ladies
