Hi Bella,

I got both a wooden cot and angelcare sound and movement monitor and I bought my baby's mattress from babycity. It's called Healthtrex, in 2010 I paid abt 600 and it gots holes, to allow for circulation as and it has a mattress cover. I also use a wedge to elevate baby's head from the same "company" and it works great with the monitor.

The wedge also has holes, so it complimenets well. In case u buy a new mattress without holes elsewhere, my antenatal nurse told us that u could take it to any bed shop and they'd punch holes in the mattress for you

Thick or thin - either is fine. I have a thick one that I bought from Reggies which worked fine with the angel care monitor. You can also get them from Mr Price. Try get one with easy breath holes in it.

Hi Ladies,

I guess when I get started with the questions, I just don't know when to stop.

I bought a wooden cot with a solid base for my baby. I need to buy a matras for the cot, but I don't know what to look for.

I have a Angelcare Monitor, and what I need to know is, what type op matras is suitable for the Angelcare pad to work? Thick or thin matras?
