my son has used a sleep sense dummy chain pretty much since birth. I always make sure it's secure and also not clipped too high up on his vest / top. He is 22 months now.

Do what you feel most comfortable though.

Some clips arent as effective as sleep sense and come lose.

I think that Niki is probably right. Although the packaging of the babysense dummy clip strictly advises against using it for naps and sleeping. I guess every person must decide for himself.

Hi,

They are safe for sleeping with as long as they are short enough, I think expects say they shouldn't be longer than 10 or 12 cm's ( but maybe you can Google that)

From a year my daughter has slept with a dummy clip, we used the sleep sense one and it was fine, i just found she would lay on it and then couldn't find her dummy any way- but I then found a shorter one, which was much better

The clip we use is so short, that there is no possible way to wrap it around my daughters throat / neck

I really wanted to use one when my LG was small. But it is a safety hazard. The chain/ribbon can pull around their necks as the wriggle around at night. I guess the chances are probably slim of that happening but I just couldn't take that risk.

Hi,

My Baby keeps throwing his Dummy out of the bed at night.
I was wondering if the sleep sense dummy clips are ok for him to sleep with?
