Baby Bouncer

I was looking at the Brights Stars baby swing chair. I think the main difference between a bouncer and swing chair is that the swing chair swings automatically whereas the bouncer doesn't swing.

But the swing chairs are all around R1200 - R2000 so quite pricey.

Which swing chair were you looking at Elamsmom?

I honestly dont even know the difference between the two...

Anthea, thanks for the question. i am wondering the same thing. I never had a bouncer or a swing chair with my 1st daughter and I remember not being able to do anything cos I couldn't put her down anywhere. I really want to try a bouncer/ swing chair this time.

I initially liked the swing chairs cos of the automatic swinging motion but they are very pricey!

When you say bouncer, do you mean like a bouncer chair?

I got the Tiny Love one from Baby's R Us for R699- I've seen them at Baby City as well for the same price. It has 2 reclining positions and a vibrate feature and has a singing crab on the arm and you can attach other hanging toys to the arms. Rebecca has slept and played in hers from about 4 weeks old and she is almost 5 months now. For me, it's been like having another pair of hands when I needed to get things done and I was home alone. I've attached a few pics for you to see.
